What to expect at a consultation at Makandar Dental & Implant Clinic in New Shahupuri, Kolhapur.

Before you arrive
The clinic is on Kolhapur Station Road, New Shahupuri. Published hours are Monday to Saturday, 11:00–18:30, and Sunday is closed. Call 086050 28600 or 86249 24508, or send a WhatsApp message with the concern you want to discuss. If you are travelling from outside Kolhapur, book before you set out so the visit is long enough for records.
During the consultation
The visit is an examination and a conversation. Dr. Azam Makandar looks at the tooth or teeth you came about, your bite, and your medical history. X-rays or photographs may be taken when they change the advice. You should leave knowing what was seen and which options apply, including the option to wait.
What is not decided in the waiting room
Suitability for an implant, a root canal, whitening, or a crown is not confirmed from a message or a photograph. Treatment starts only after the plan is explained in writing. Bring a list of medicines and any recent dental X-rays you already have.
If you are comparing treatments
Say what you want to be able to eat or see in the mirror, and what you are worried about. A clear first visit compares keeping a tooth, replacing it, or doing neither yet. It does not have to end with a booking for surgery.
